Dear sir,

In the noise makers list my name appeared twice,

I was just trying to speak English,

to the new boy in our class,

I told him 'be" meant to be as a being,

He said it was a verb,

I said "to be" wasn't an action,

It was a quality,

To be a pilot,

I have to learn to grow wings right?

He said "No",

that for example; a girl must wear lipstick,

catwalk like a cat,

have a perfect skin like that big leather suitcase you bring to class,

Sir, do you like it because it's a big suitcase,

or because it is smooth

He said to be a girl,

I should act like a girl.

But I'm a girl as I am,

Am I wrong?

I seek redress,

but what would I even claim.

or to be as is?
